Mono County Recreation Stewards
Mono County Recreation Stewards provide seasonal on-the-ground trail, route, and recreation site construction, maintenance, and restoration related services, in addition to public education, visitor services, and a variety of other tasks in partnership with public lands managers. Inter-agency cooperation provides sustainable recreation opportunities that benefit visitors and local residents including flora and fauna.

We typically hire each season February thru April, with work starting April or May, with a typical season lasting through November, but typically last about 4.5 - 5 months. Work seasons are
