Communicable Disease Program

The goal of the Communicable Disease Program is to monitor communicable diseases, decrease those diseases and report as required to the California Department of Public Health (Title 17).  Communicable diseases include, but are not limited to: tuberculosis, sexually transmitted diseases, HIV/AIDS, Hantavirus, hepatitis, foodborne diseases, childhood infections (such as measles, polio, chickenpox, mumps).  For further information, please contact the Mono County Health Department in Mammoth Lakes at (760) 924-1830 or in Bridgeport (760) 932-5580.


Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, an appointment is needed to provide clinic services. Walk-in services are not available at this time. Call the general public health line to speak with a nurse to set up an appointment, 760-924-1830.
